A & B Door Machine??

I'm looking for any information on a A&B 26P automatic door machine. I haven't been able to find anything online at all. I'm assuming it's a cabinet door machine but curious about how it operates

Not sure about the model # but back when I was servicing machinery I worked on a few.
They are heavy made. The spindle is movable in & out and the tracer bearing rides against templates on a big rotary table that is propelled around by a toothed sprocket & rack on the bottom of the table. Template for arched rails are fastened to the table. Work pieces are put in place under a hold down shoe such that they are clamped in place by a shoe just before they get to the cutter head. Depending on how large you make the rotary table this machine can make a lot of parts per hour. The system runs continuously so the operator takes a part out and loads another as the table goes around. Rotary tables on the ones I worked on were about 8 to 10' in diameter.

Thanks Larry - I'm not sure its the same machine we are talking about. I don't see a rotary table on it - It's about 4x8 feet or larger with two 5hp shapers mounted on arms above the table with some sort of air actuated pivot mechanism. Separate control panel that can be mounted on a stanchion away from machine. Table looks to have a lot of clamps on it and looks to maybe slide. I haven't seen it in person yet but picking up next week. Online auction and I paid $100 They usually specify if machine is not operational, but even if it is, I figured $100 for two 5hp 3 phase motors plus all the air clamps, cylinders, filters, and electrical contactors,..... I'm going to try to attach a photo - If you recognize, any info would be helpful.

Sounds like you are describing a copy shaper Google " copy shaper"

Not the machine type I had worked on but still a form of copy shaper. Might make a nice "Sturdy" work bench if you don't need to use it as a copy shaper. That market has fallen apart due to CNC.
