=> Wood Processing Professionals Unite, Deliver Message to
Washington

On February 16, the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of
America (WMMA) held their annual Public Policy Fly-In that
drew more that 100 wood processing professionals to
Washington, DC. WMMA members and others emphasized that
this nation’s future depends on manufacturing, and that a
strong manufacturing base requires policy-makers to scale
back the external costs that make it so expensive to
manufacture in the United States.

''Stupid Woodworker Tricks'' contains stories that will make
you chuckle and tales that will make you cringe. Most of
all, you'll be glad the main character isn't you... But
maybe, just maybe, you've made a mistake you wouldn't mind
sharing? If so, use the ''add information'' link at the top
of the page to tell your tale of accidental agony...

When almost all aspects of designing a run of frameless

where doors and panels meet. How much should a door
overlay an applied end panel... if at all?

A quality installer deserves fair pay and reasonable time
to complete a job... but just who sets the standard, and
how? With so many possible procedures, and no solid
protocol, this is not an easy issue to clear up.
