Compound miter
2/1/22
I have a stove hood surround to build where the front needs to lay back at about a 38 degree angle, while the sides need to lay in about 22 degrees. They need to miter together at the corner. The base across the front will be 30", the depth 24", and at 16" high, the top needs to be 16" wide and the sides 12" deep. I'm obviously struggling with the bevel/angle. Can you guys re-school me on this? It's been many years since I understood trig. Any help will be appreciated.

RichC-I actually saw that one for the frustrum and tried it, but it didn't seem to work out right. Maybe because I used my finished outside dimensions and the dimension lines in that illustration are for finished inside dimensions? Would that matter? Or maybe I'm putting the dimensions in the wrong place. It was end of the day and I had spectators lol. I'm hoping it makes more sense in the morning. I could swear I've done this before.
