Spraying lacquer in winter

I am in East Tennessee new to spraying. I know some about spraying in the warmer months but have a question about spraying when it is cold (no well heated area). It is 54 degrees here and partly cloudy. Dry but chilly. Do not want my piece to blush. How does the mild cold affect spraying lacquer?

I have sprayed pre-cat down in the 30's. Not recommended i'm sure but all it did for me was take longer to cure.

Most catalyzed (pre/post) need at least 65º for the chemical reaction to occur. Otherwise down the line you can have issues with the finish.

"Lacquer" can be a broad range of products. Should we assume solvent based? Talk to the tech dept at the company making the product you want to use first. Blushing most often occurs when it's hot and high humidity. The surface flashes over and moisture is trapped. Far less of an issue in the winter.
