Bill,
ALL FANUC controlled Omnitech CNC routers (about 600 out of the 800 total Omnitechs here in the US) are still supported here at Anderson America. There are many more installed in Canada that are well supported by Akhurst Machinery. To my point, TJ is still here; and you still receive the same free lifetime phone support, from the same support team as always? Nothing has changed about it? Since our sales are stronger than ever, and our tech support staff is larger than ever; most believe that our support is better than ever as well. So, your response confuses me.
We purchased a financially struggling Omnitech in 2014, for one sole reason: So the customers of those machines wouldn't be orphaned, and thus unhappy with the larger Anderson America CNC routers by association. That's how seriously we take support and reputation that we'll spend millions just to protect ours.
If you have one of the couple hundred Syntec controlled Spectra machines or one of the half dozen or so Seimens controlled models from 2002 or so, then maybe there's a degree of truth to your statement and I'm willing to help you personally with whatever issue your are facing (even though their support and parts have been officially picked up by Giben).
Feel free to call me personally (or TJ, or Bobby, or Cory, or John, or Duane, or Ray, or Steven, or Tyler) or any of the guys that have always been here to take care of you.
My cell number is (704) 252-0844. I'll be working from home tomorrow and our full staff will be back to normal hours on Thursday at 8:00 AM EST.
Best Regards,
Tom Flowers
