HolzHer cnc battery replacement

Replacing the 2 3.6v lithium batteries in the control. The problem is that the guy that took them out didn't pay attention to how they were wired when he desoldered them. The plug is marked 1,2,3,4, and has 2 red and 2 black wires. Does anyone know which pairs go together?

Hopefully he did not take them both out at the same time... If this is your Cmos battery on any CNC you will have possibly lost your parameters... Either way typically you can tell how things went by the memory of the wires and how they want to go. I always take photos with my phone of things before I take them apart. Aside from that a manual with wiring diagram might help you. Holzher cnc does not tell much you would need to provide the actual model number and hopefully a year of manufacture to get anything more than a guess from help online here. Another suggestion would be to maybe post a photo of the board showing the area with the batteries so maybe someone here might have the same machine and could assist. Good luck with it either way...

The machine is a Conquest 510 manufactured in 2004. The control has "num" on the battery door, but I can't find a model number on the control itself. It is located in the center of the electrical cabinet and the battery compartment is at the top of the front panel above all of the plugs. Batteries are the size of AA, but 3.6 volt lithuim. we haven't powered of the machine since taking the batteries out as to not lose the parameters.
