Busellato JET 3006 cooling error
3/15/21
Is anyone familiar with the ELM Cooling Liquid Temperature not OK error? We are located in Wisconsin and see this usually during the coldest days of winter and hottest days of summer. Then it usually takes about 10-30 min. to correct itself. Today is a mild day, mid 30's, and this error has come up all day long. The temp. needle is in the acceptable range and I have filled the water in the cooling unit. Any idea what else could be causing this error? Maybe a bad sensor somewhere?

Ah the joys of machining in Wisconsin, -30 to 90 degrees with huge humidity swings!
Is there a way to see what the software is seeing as a temp? I'd say you have a bad sending unit if your gauge is reading correctly.

I have a Jet 6000xxl. we have a cooler also. Turn off your CNC and make sure your fan inside the cooler is turning easily (It should turn with no drag). I have had to replace the bearings before. Also try blowing out the dust in the cooling fins.

Thank you Steve and Eric. Our CNC is an oldy but a goody. I didn't find anything in the software that tells me at what temp the machine is running. We have checked out the fan and have blown out the cooling unit. Still having an issue. Sent a note off to Buselatto hopefully get a timely answer.
