What happens if your "CNC" guru leaves? and if is really that good at machines look at what you are paying him and wonder why he is working for you?????
Nothing wrong with chinese cnc machines except you have to know what you are getting, some are good, some okay, some just plain junk. I can tell you this shipping a container from China to the us used to be $3000, now it is 15,000 or more, A "real" HSD spindle is going to start at $10,000. Real run ways and bearings another 10,000. A Good vacuum pump to hold parts down starts at 8,000, and the list goes on. You can not expect a quality machine for less than a quarter of the cost of the parts. Plus there will be no customer service, if it does not run properly who you gonna call?? Ghost Busters ?? I have been in business for over 30 yrs and I can tell you now the difference between a real well built commercial duty machine and something from china or taiwan. 15 years from now the "real" machine will still be spitting out parts just as accurate as the day it was commissioned while the "aftermarket" one you be taking to the recycling center and getting 7 cents a pound for scrape metal.
So if you are thinking that you are getting a real cnc machine for $13,000 wake up, deals that are to good to be true seldom are, anyone that says his $13,000 cnc is doing well is just ashamed to admit that he was taken. Spend your money wisely, do your research, unless you are just determined to give it away. And if you are just go get married again at least your have some fun before it is all gone.
