65 amp problem

Hi all I’ve decided move back ireland after many happy years in ny. I am currently building a 2000 sqf loft garage which I’m hoping convert to small workshop but I have only learned that max panel I can get is. 220 v. 65 amp. This is problem for 2reasons
10 of smaller machines are 230 v 60 hertz ireland is 220 v 50 hertz. But most smaller machines are 2 hp to 5 hp drawing lots amps if I run anymore than 2-3 at any one time which I can manage if I have to
Hertz difference I can change with convertor can I get unit do several machines
2. My slider is 7.5 hp 3 phase
I know I can get converters but. There are so many different types I read post on this forum saying he bought a 30 hp that ran several machines at one time, but can I get one that will run off 65 amps . And still be able use chop saws and line boring machines with hertz convertor also
Lastly I rang American rotary about my saw but guy on phone said I would need to convert up not down to single phase
Again I’m not sure if I put big hp unit to run smaller machines and I buy convertor to jump up. I don’t want fry my panel
3 phase is not an option as I live in rural area I would really appreciate any info as I need make up my mind whether sell my saw here buy single phase at home. I love my Martin slider and bought almost new and do not want get rid of it unless I have have to. Thanks in advance guys tadhg

I would first try to find an electrician who is knowledgeable in phase converters and industrial fit ups. Next have a look at Phase Perfect electronic phase converters. I have read many glowing reviews of the system. They are very efficient when compared to rotary PCs.
Five hp at 220v is what 15 amps? Say you have a 5 hp dust collector a 5 hp saw lighting and electric heat. You still have plenty of load capacity.
But really get electrical advise from a professional and sleep soundly knowing that you won't be shut down by an inspection or fire.

Hi Tom I have spoken to an Electrican here and in ireland and both have said watch putting on larger hp units all at same time. A vdf will work for slider as long as Martin computer doesn’t have one
Built in already. I have found a site that will do both 110 and 220 to American hertz and connections. Ireland is different to here as I’m building on my own property and not in commercial property in city or town the inspections are not as strict. As long as neighbours don’t complain. But I have factored in for noise control etc I’m happy I can keep my machinery as I bought everything new. And resale would not pay 1/3 of overall cost vdf are lifesaver for 3 phase and I called Martin about voltage and hp and they also said call phase perfect. So all is good. Only thing worry bout now is packing up entire shop and getting on container thanks for advise appreciate it T
