Converting a refrigerator
3/15/21
I'd like to convert a regular sized refrigerator by cutting out the divide between the freezer and fridge compartments so that the whole thing maintains the same temp. Additionally, I'd I'd like to modify it so that it maintains between 50-60 deg F. Only problem is I don't know enough about how fridges work to know if it's possible. Anyone have advice on getting something like this done?

Yeah, build a foam insulated box and hire someone who does. HVAC tech or a commercial appliance service can set you up with a walk-in type unit and all the controls needed. You'll waste more of your time (and other peoples) trying to hack something together that will never work anyway.

If you drop down one post you see that Heath wanted to turn a bathroom into a refrigerator last time. No explanation there either. I'm guessing it has to do with a thick resin pour.

As with your previous post, you might do well to disclose your ultimate purpose, which will allow respondants to be more insightful and offer useful input, rather than your being mysterious, and having respondants be speculative and dismissive.
Just a suggestion.
