Resaw blade riding on metal-to-metal contact
3/30/22
I would like to find out which blade line from Lenox could have a metal-to-metal contact. This means, the band will have to ride on metal wheels without tires on them in a typical resawing application.

That sounds like a Lenox question as they would know their blade performance the best. I would guess most blades will run on metal wheels IF the wheel itself was ground for metal to metal usage.
I am assuming you're talking a metal wheel ground for that usage and NOT removing a rubber tire to make metal to metal contact.
Sorry BUT it does depend on how you interpet the second part of your question.

My opinion is any of the blades would work, but a call would be appropriate.

Im no expert but pretty much all the resaws Ive seen do not run tires. The bands run straight on metal wheels. Some have a lip on the back edge of the wheel but many not. I'd agree that any band will run and likely the one that will work on your saw will be purpose specific. Even the small Hitatchi CF saws run metal wheels.
