We are searching for a motivated individual who desires to build a career in project management in the architectural woodworking field. Any experience level may apply. Applicants without prior experience would be considered for an assistant PM role with a salary range of $40,000-55,000. Applicants with applicable experience in high-end finish carpentry project management will be considered for a salary range of $55,000-80,000+.

• Background in construction or woodwork
• Technologically skilled (computer literate, Microsoft Word/Excel/Teams, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand detailed architectural plans
• Experienced in project management in high-end finish carpentry and commercial millwork (helpful)

Job responsibilities include:
• Model ONSITE’s most important core values including excellent service, personal responsibility, empathy, vulnerability, integrity, caring for your team, tenacity, and having fun.
• Perform duties of a Project Manager by coordinating with the client and ONSITE team to complete custom woodwork projects from start to finish.
• Communicate effectively with estimating, engineering, shop and install departments to accomplish every aspect of the project.
• Develop and maintain personal client relationships.
• Obtain field dimensions on assigned projects (Chicago) and translate to shop drawings for production.
• Meet with clients, architect, General Contractor, or other subcontractors to work through tasks on assigned projects.
• Control all costs associated with profitability of assigned projects.
• Work with the team towards accomplishing profitability goals on a project-by-project basis for the Chicago region.
