LUXE Millwork is currently hiring for five cabinet makers and assemblers for our new state of art facility in Fort Myers, FL.
Required Skill Sets:
Thoroughly study and get familiar with the project, shop drawings, approved samples and/or mock-up species, finishing level, hardware, and time allowances.
Layout job and prepare a complete cut list and millwork list.
Fabricate various components of the job (Bases, Case assembly, End-panels, up-rights, Moldings, doors, drawers, faces, tops, jigs, templates, veneer work, etc.)
Assembly and installation of cabinets, drawers, doors, moldings, etc.
Assure functionality and accuracy of the build.
A review of every component for accuracy and quality must be done throughout, including during setup, cutting, molding, assembly, and disassembly.
Disassemble for finishing. This step requires proper and accurate labeling of every component.
Track actual build times using the appropriate project and fixture codes. Codes are provided by the shop foreman. These codes are used for estimating and scheduling and, more importantly, for progress reports, so consistency and accuracy are imperative.
Daily time sheets are to be prepared and submitted to the shop foreman for review and approval.
Consult and report concerns or issues to the shop foreman and project manager; this includes but is not limited to issues related to functionality, fabrication, time allowance, and conflicting information.
Report equipment and/or tool issues to the shop foreman.
A copy of shop drawings with as built notes must be provided to the installation team; the original will remain in the office for record
Job Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years experience in all phases of cabinetry.
Must be reliable and detail oriented
An ability to problem solve
Able to lift 50 lbs.
A valid drivers license
