Description
A growing $10M cabinet/fixtures manufacturing firm in the Western US is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in custom woodworking..they will pay very well! Here's an idea of what the role will entail: • Produce detailed programs, shop drawings, BOMs and specify materials for production using Cabinet Vision and Epicor ERP system.
• Standardize engineering methodologies and manufacturing processes with focus on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA).
• Communicate and collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Design and Management during the development of the project.
• Receives redlines and updates drawings. Consults Operations and shop managers for any special design considerations. Manages Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
• Ensures engineering software is properly set up for machines, tools, and material thicknesses.
