We are seeking experienced high- end custom cabinetmaker/woodworkers looking to take the next step into their future. Qualified candidates must have experience with high-end custom millwork and have an innate passion for their work product. They must be able to read multi-level drawings, demonstrate excellency and enjoy training, coaching and mentoring their respective team members in a creative environment.
Apprentices with at least 2 years of experience (looking to promote themselves to the next level) are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide Installation and Engineering Feedback to Design Team on Custom Drawings
Training and Educating Incoming millworkers and apprentices.
Managing Labor Job Costs to Ensure Margins are Held
Assist Installers as required IE: Strap on a tool belt and go Hands on
Perform quality checks on your work to ensure proper manufacturing practices are used.
Verify that all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the build is completed and accurate.
Manage production related issues and provide solutions.
Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed.
Qualifications
Ability to function effectively without daily oversight from management.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail coupled with organizational skills.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Prior 2 years experience directly manufacturing cabinets required
Previous experience in managing teams preferred
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams.
