Description
Wright Architectural Millwork is seeking an in house draftsperson/engineer with a minimum of 4 years of architectural millwork drafting experience using AUTOCAD 2014 or higher & knowledge of AWI Standards.
As a draftsperson with Wright Architectural Millwork, you will be responsible for a complete set of production drawings. Which will include but not be limited to, Plan Views, Elevations, and Detailed sections with a complete list of materials, and hardware.
Additional responsibilities will include:
· Reviewing the estimate and compare it to the architectural drawings & specifications.
· Researching Hardware for assembly.
· Researching approved equipment for proper fit.
· Putting together a complete submittal package for review.
· Appling field dimensions and adjusting you’re drawing appropriately.
· Working closely with the project manager to coordinate any discrepancies.
· You will have the opportunity to review your project while being manufactured.
Proficiency with the following software programs preferred
Knowledge of Cad/Cam Software, Cut Listing software and CNC Programming. Using programs such as “Wood-CAD/CAM”, iX2019 or higher, “Microvellum”, Inventor, Cut-Rite Woodwop or equivalent programs will get you noticed quicker.
