Job Description:
We have an opening for a Fabrication Director in our MO location. This position is responsible for managing the start to finish process for all design projects that flow through our fabrication shop.
The role is vital to delivering innovative projects for our clients through a collaborative process. No matter the scale, each project starts with a strong concept that is a response to the unique conditions of that project. The end goal is to make truly meaningful spaces for people, that add value to their place. The success of that starts with the people on our team.
Eligibility Requirements:
Effectively manage the flow of fabrication projects from start to completion. Cost estimation, client and subcontractor communication, budgeting, and scheduling are all skills essential for this position. Serve as the main point of contact for the client in all phases of a Fabrication project
Manage the team in the creation of shop drawings for cabinetry, custom furniture and other specialty objects based upon preliminary ideas, concepts, data, research, etc.
Work with other design staff to translate schematic designs/ ideas in constructible realities.
Rapidly iterate through design detailing options based on material, budget, and desired aesthetic. Understand and mitigate risks associated with creating custom designs Establish and document internal control processes for Fabrication division.

Work with accounting to monitor financials of every project, ensuring business and client expectations are achieved
Coordination and materials procurement with Shop Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years of experience in a similar Management role
A skilled communicator and team leader
Working knowledge of Revit, Cabinet Vision, and Sketchup
Past experience in at least one of the following areas: Architecture, Construction, Custom Fabrication, Hospitality
Job Salary:
$80K to $100K (pending experience)
