As our teams’ CNC operator/cabinet builder, you will use computer numerically controlled (CNC) machinery to perform various functions. Your primary task will be to assess materials and produce high-quality parts by programming machines to achieve the correct operations. We select employees based on their attitude and ability to work well with our team and customers. We will gladly train you if you are the right fit for our company culture. You must be able to lift 50 pounds and move/shift sheet goods weighing up to 100 pounds.

We’ve built a team of people who work collaboratively toward the same goals. You will edge-band cabinetry parts when not running or maintaining the CNC. Part of your day may include basic cabinet building and other typical cabinet shop work.

Within the first six months in this role, you will be able to:
-run and maintain the CNC and edge banding machine to ensure proper functionality
-read shop drawings for product specifications, including dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions
-select, position, and secure sheet goods
-correctly label parts
-accurately control and position tools and workpieces in relation to each other
-accurately set specified feeds, speeds, and depth of cuts
-oversee machine operation, verifying conformances of machined work pieces to specifications
-safely utilize a forklift to arrange shop materials
-accurately assemble cabinets, construct laminate countertops, laminate cabinet parts
-follow established safety rules and regulations
-maintain a safe and clean work environment

The pay for this position ranges between $15-$22. This range is based on your applicable experience, so there is room for you to grow within this position as your machinery and cabinetry knowledge and shop skills improve.

3-day weekends*
60 hours of paid holidays (after a 90-day introductory period)
10 hours of sick pay (after a 90-day introductory period)
