Description
Successful 37 year old commercial millwork manufacturer seeks Estimator.
This candidate will work in an AWI standard specific industry and maintain database of vendors, contractors, for cost development and submittal of bids.
Candidate will facilitate costs and buy lists, conduct cost analysis studies to aid quote preparation while setting standard costs for labor and production. Will have oversight regarding change orders.
Eligibility Requirements
Highly knowledgeable in commercial mill-work, cabinetry, fixtures or similar wood products fields.
Experience of working on the shop floor a plus.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estimating.
Excellent mathematics acumen.
Ability to use Excel, Blue beam, and other take off apps.
Excellent interpersonal relationship skills and ability to work with all other departments to ensure scheduling, budgets, and labor costs are in line.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for ability to work directly with engineers, contractors, owners, customer and other personnel involved in project.
Proficient in ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of AWI Standards.
Job Salary
$60k - $75
Relocation Package up to $1,500.00
