Millwork engineer
· Utilize AutoCAD to update 2D CAD drawings from approved prints and field dimensions for commercial millwork and casework
· Communicate with Project Managers to determine site conditions, additional required fields, etc.
· Program in Cabinet Vision or AlphaCam
· Update the material database for the robotic material handling system.
· Isolate geometry clearly for CNC programming or 3D modeling with notation
· Provide all required production release paperwork and follow the company release process
· Develop the bill of materials for each project
· Break out SKs for specialty items
· Use the ELaser to template complex areas and incorporate those scans into drawings
· Work with other production engineers and cutting room staff to ensure proper machining routines and nesting methods.
Performance Expectations
· Learn and maintain company drafting style and standards
· Create accurate and buildable drawings with the fabricator, installer, and client’s needs in mind
· Work required hours to meet both internal and external project timelines
· Consistently produce accurate CV and Alphacam programs
· Interact with related departments professionally and courteously
· Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and non-verbally
Advancement Goals
· Develop methods to produce drawings and programs more efficiently while maintaining departmental standards
· Consistently provide accurate drawings that minimize additional shop or field work
· Consistently provide accurate BOMs
· Display the ability to work in a collaborative environment where the sharing of skills, ideas and techniques is fostered
· Reduce cost through research of hardware, materials, etc.
· Show a high level of commitment by putting the time in to help make every project as successful as possible

Salary: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
