This is a bubinga and wenge cabinet I just finished. The inside has mahagony and maple as the third and fourth woods. The flower marquetry is poplar and anigre, pulls are wenge, doors are curved by hand, base is also curved to match cab. Enjoy

Cool piece. Kind of/sort of Krenov meets Hepplewhite.

Neat fusion.

What are the dimensions for this piece?

How many hours do you have invested in this?

It's hard to say how many hours I have into the piece. It took a course of 8 months to do working on it here and there. I did everything by hand. Even sculpted the doors with a hand plane. It's fun work, but I'll never get my moneys worth. I was thinking it was worth around 6500-7000. Does this seem reasonable?

It's absolutely worth that price. Nice work, what hinge did you use for the doors.

I used Brusso solid brass knife hinges. you could imagine this project looks so much better in person. I'm torn between selling it and putting it next to the tv so I can look at it regularly. He He

This is easily the most interesting and inspiring piece of furniture I've seen on this website.

Incredibly fluid design that fits the eye perfectly. Props to you.

That's a beautiful piece.. thanks for sharing it. You mention that you hand planed the doors. Looking at the curve I'm just wondering, how thick the stock was before you started?
