this media unit was designed by the client to match his KraftMaid kitchen cabinets. the door profile, the corbels, the crown, and the finish were all exactely the same as his kitchen which sits about 6 feet to the left of this unit.
i used SketchUp to model the cabinets and fine tune the layout and eCabinets to generate a cutlist. the frameless boxes are constructed with pre-fin maple plywood which were doweled and screwed together. the finish is M.L.Campbells Relisiant conversion varnish with a mocha glaze and top coat of Krystal CV. the client will purchase a new flat screen next year and at that time i will install 2 center base cabinets and a c-top to match.
