Can I ask how you do your finished end panels? Looks like the end panel is the actual case side, not applied to the case side? If it is applied, how do you get a full overlay over it?

Zoltan,

Nice looking kitchen but in all honesty it does not capture the aesthetic characteristics of true inset construction, especially in the uppers.

Kerry,
You are right this is not an inset construction; as the text added on the top of the image pointed out: “Painted European kitchen providing the inset APPEARANCE of a face frame cabinet”
This is a European custom kitchen based on a well-known designer's plans fully capturing the customer’s taste.

Jason,

The end-panel is integrated. The end panel is part of the cabinet box and then from the inside a plywood sheet is glued to the side panel.

Zoltan,

Once again it is a very nice kitchen but does not have the "appearance of a face frame cabinet". It has the appearance of a frame less or "European" style kitchen with some ornamentation added.

Kerry,

This kitchen is providing the inset appearance (frame less) of a face frame cabinet.

You are right: it does not have the "appearance of a face frame cabinet", and I never said that it does.

Maybe I'm crazy, but you certainly do say
"providing the inset appearance of a face frame cabinet". Are you an attorney??

By the way, very nice job!

Mike,

Thanks. Perhaps I am the one who wrote the description incorrectly, but by saying "providing the inset appearance of a face frame cabinet" I meant to say that the cabinet IS a face frame cabinet, but it provides the appearance of an inset (or frame less) cabinet.

This just looks great to me.

Thank you Isaias, I appreciate your comment. Although, I have to say it is my friend's Laszlo's work from The Sharp Woodworking, I am just helping him spread the word.

Happy Thanksgiving!
