Hello all. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with combcore?

Specifically making doors with them. I have been handed a design with wide doors (29.5 and 54). i have not had a proper sit down with the clients yet to see if these measurements are hard and fast but i would like to inform myself before meeting with them. I was thinking i could have the 54" door open upwards with a couple of gas hinges but other than that it will likely have to be split in 2. That would still make for a door that is 3 inches wider than most people's max.
I though that a lighter weight panel would help take the strain off the hinges. I know that i would have to glue in a strip to be able to drill out the hinge holes. What i am more concerned about is if the material has a natural warp to it like most sheet goods? Or is it truer since it is a pressed sandwich of materials and doesn't weigh as much? Am i really just asking for a world of headaches? Thanks!
