About the Knowledge
Base How to Use the Knowledge Base Browsing allows you to use the Knowledge Base as if it were a library, divided into specific areas of interest. As you review the complete list of categories, click on any category you're interested in to view a list of related articles. Each article title is accompanied by a brief description of the article's content. Searching allows you to locate articles based on the specific words or phrases contained in the article. In the search field below, enter a word or phrase related to the topic you are interested in. Click "Go", and a list of related articles will appear. The articles listed contain the word or phrase you entered into the search field. Enter search terms and click 'go' To locate articles on a particular topic, enter a word or phrase
related to the topic (for example: to locate articles describing the hardness
and strength of wood, enter "wood properties"). To locate articles
by a specific author, enter the author's name (enter "Wengert" to locate articles
written by Professor Gene Wengert, for example). You may also search the Knowledge Base using the search field found at the top right corner of every page at WOODWEB. Choose "Knowledge Base" from the drop down list, and enter a search term or phrase. For tips on effective searching and "power searching", review our Search Tips. |
