Salary: 70k - 100k Depending on experience

Well established Mill working company that specializes in a wide range of sustainable lumber. Building and delivering to multi-million dollar homes. Our high-production facility is located in the heart of the wild west just east of Jackson Hole and the Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.


Essential Functions
• Properly maintain and inspect machinery prior to use, in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Properly pull and stack material
• Maintain proper rotation of lumber inventory
• Maintain a working knowledge of what is inventoried in the yard(s)
• Understand and be able to train others on how to tally hardwood lumber
• Use proper material handling techniques to minimize damage to goods
• Provide selection assistance to employees and customers in the yard and lumber warehouses
• Report any defective, damaged and/or missing material to your supervisor immediately
• Properly load company trucks for delivery
• Operate the forklift, to load vehicles, in a safe and sensible manner
• Drive forklift, as duties require, and in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures
• Maintain clean orderly work environment
• Responsible for Yard Crew Time & Attendance Management, scheduling, and personnel matters (timesheets/PTO requests/coaching & counseling, etc.)
• Continuously improve, ensure standardization of yard layouts & conditions including yard maintenance plans
• Manage and develop good working relationships
• Support and cooperate with other Company Team members
• Maintain clean orderly work environment
• And any other duties and/or assignments as may be required or assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• General Computer Skills including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and D365
• Working knowledge of lumber materials and inventory items
• Knowledge of mill manufacturing process, including machinery, dust collection and CAD
• Excellent management and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate team to accomplish objectives
• Ability to solve conflicts among coworkers
