Millwork Engineer/Draftsperson

Very well established and growing manufacturer in CT is looking for an additional Millwork engineer proficient in Woodworking design software . Candidate will be responsible for engineering and programming casework, parts, paneling, and other millwork. Position will include project management of one’s own work and oversight of all phases of the job.
Must have a strong understanding or AWI, QCP and other industry standards. Position requires a detail oriented individual who is capable of producing efficiently and without supervision. Candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural and commercial millwork as well as the cabinetry trade.
‐Proficient in AutoCAD
-Knowledge in Millwork specific engineering Software such as :
Microvellum, Wood/Cad Cam, 20/20, Cabinet Vision, SketchUp, Woodworks, Mozaik, Solid Works, Autodesk Inventor, KCDW, Keytrix, Wood WAP, IMOS
‐Strong background in engineering software
‐Programming experience will enhance compensation offer.
‐Bench experience a plus.
‐Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
‐Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.
