We are an established architectural millwork manufacturer specializing in architectural woodwork and commercial casework for medical, financial, educational, hospitality, and other commercial environments seeking an engineer/draftsperson. This position will create CNC programs from construction drawings, material assignments and take-offs using Cabinet Vision, AutoCAD and/or Rhino software. Will train the right candidate for Cabinet Vision program.

Job Responsibilities:
• Meet with Estimating to review details of incoming jobs
• Coordinate with project managers to create shop drawings and bill of materials based on job schedules
• Modify/revise shop drawings per architectural redlines and mark-ups
• Ensure shop drawings for all millwork applications are in accordance with job’s architectural drawings and specifications
• Follow company approved best practices and construction methods
• Use engineering software to support production with material requisitions and machining files

Eligibility Requirements:
• Proficient in AutoCAD to draft shop drawings for millwork
• Experience with Cabinet Vision preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Ability to read and accurately interpret architectural drawings and specs
• General understanding of materials, hardware, and best practices construction methods.
• Basic understanding of nested CNC controlled three axis router work.
• Proficient with Microsoft office outlook, excel, word as well as Adobe Acrobat
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude, enthusiastic and willing to learn and overcome obstacles
• Work well both independently and with other employees throughout the company
