We are looking for an experienced Millwork Logistics Manager to manage daily shipping and receiving operations.
You will work with the production team to package and ship cabinets, trim, and other millwork components, ensuring that each shipment is well documented. You will communicate with drivers and job site Project Managers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
You will also be responsible for receiving all raw materials, and supplies used in the manufacturing process into the shop; as well as storing accordingly.
A successful shipping & receiving manager is analytical, well-organized and excels in communication. They must be comfortable with computer systems (excel, word. etc.) in order to fill out paperwork and have great knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
The goal is to ensure that the shipping & receiving processes are running smoothly and effectively. This may require overtime hours and occasional weekend availability.
Use software to track, check, prioritize and route orders
Manage all important documents such as advanced shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading, packing slips etc.
Direct the flow of product from preparation to shipment
Inspect labels, work orders and other features of completed orders
Supervise and lead subordinates (receiving clerks, order pickers, drivers etc.)
Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes
Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
Ensure compliance to legal regulations and company policies
Report to management on activities and issues

Proven experience as shipping & receiving manager
Solid knowledge of the millwork industry
Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
Computer savvy with excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and preparing shipping documents (e.g. ASN)
Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail & organization skills
Problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Paid time off
8-hour shift
Day shift
