Frank Shatz & Co., Inc. is a family owned company in business over 60 years. We seek an experienced estimator to perform the following duties;
Review of bid invitations to determine suitable opportunities to pursue; download plans and specifications, identify our scope of work, solicit vendor buyout pricing and material costs, determine labor time for the complete manufacturing of the items within our scope, develop detailed written proposals, attend scope review meetings, hand-off meetings with engineering and project management, develop schedule of values, pricing of change orders, etc... ,
Qualified candidate must have excellent organization skills, work within required timelines for completion of bids, understand order of magnitude of our work. Must be proficient with Excel, Bluebeam, Plan hub, Building Connected, Isqft and all microsoft office software. We offer a substantial industry standard wage as a salary, and benefits that include health care, vision, dental, paid holidays, paid time off and 401K. This position may be a "hybrid" between remote and office.
