Summary:

Acacia creates extraordinary millwork products by combining skilled craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. We seek a leader who embodies classic carpentry craftsmanship and technology. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the millwork production floors, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
Implement and monitor production schedules to meet deadlines and optimize workflow.
• Facilitate effective communication and teamwork across different departments to ensure smooth production processes.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Develop and maintain detailed schedules, utilizing Acacia’s ERP system, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely arrival of materials, delivery, and receipt of goods to and from vendors and delivery of products to downstream teams.
• Adapt and adjust schedules as needed to address production issues or changes in demand.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production staff.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all levels of staff and management.
• Skilled in conveying technical information and production goals to the team.
• Knowledgeable about industry regulations and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role in a millwork or related manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with a track record of effective collaboration.
• Proficiency in production scheduling and computer systems, including production management software (Innergy).
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
