Hello,
Currently full time remote engineering for a cabinet shop in CA. If I'm perfectly honest, as a builder I'm at wits end staring at my screen all day with no physical connection to the projects anymore. Since moving back home I've yearned to get back a role more integral in the daily shop life.
I started my career milling and worked all the way through finishing, assembly, and finally to project manager/engineer at our facility. Top to bottom I'm familiar with many of the shop processes to achieve high end details for discerning clients and really enjoy the challenge of overcoming the craziness our architects hand us. I have been working in Cabinet Vision for 8 years now and we are running version 2023.4. While still in CA, I was responsible for the project management, drafting, site measures, and engineering of our work.
