Our company is seeking qualified applicants to fill a full time position with our 60 year old company. We specialize in high end build/remodel projects with a strong emphasis on historical accuracy in older homes. Our in house Millshop produces all of the millwork associated with our jobs. Traditional design and replication of authentic architectural elements are what drive all of our projects. Typical projects include built-ins, kitchens, dressing rooms, vanities, moldings, doors, etc. We are looking for a detailed oriented self-starter who has the ability take a drawing from conception to final completion. Almost all machinery in the shop has been upgraded in the past 7 years. These are all working in tandem with a robust dust collection system. We try to keep things as neat and clean as possible to maximize working conditions.
Qualified applicants must possess these skills/traits:
1. Strong leadership and pride in work.
2. Ability to communicate with other workers in shop and on-site installers.
3. Organized and process driven.
4. Ability to read blueprints.
5. Skilled at woodworking.
6. Minimum 5 years experience in similar role.
Working knowledge of these machines is required:
1. Shaper
2. Vertical Panel Saw
3. Table Saw and OMGA miter saw
4. Wide Belt Sander
5. Edgebander (Willing to teach on this)
6. Jointer
7. Molder
