Job Description:
Installs, maintains, dismantles, repairs and reassembles machinery.
Troubleshoots, identifies operational issues and repairs large industrial equipment.
Research parts, communicates with vendors and prepares purchase orders for replacement parts.
Document preventative maintenance repair work and order spare parts to facilitate SOP requirements.
Assists in rigging requirements for installing new equipment and relocation projects.
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment electrical issues
Welds machine parts as required to facilitate repairs on equipment.
Assists where necessary in production functions throughout the facility.
Maintains equipment in maintenance shop.
Practices safe health and safety practices when performing job responsibilities.
Works in compliance with the companys Health & Safety Policies/SOPs including but not limited to the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.
Maintains and repairs buildings and facilities
Utilizes Word, Excel and Office
Other duties not included here may be required.
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be a proficient mechanic with five or more years' experience in industrial/production line maintenance with an emphasis in automation.
Must have related work references
Must be flexible with hours based on the demands of the production line/factory. (The reason for the existence of the maintenance department is to minimize factory downtime)
Must be able to handle paperwork POs, approvals, work orders, etc.
Must be able to know how to use a computer and email for parts, troubleshooting with manufacture techs.
Must be comfortable with heights
Must have general knowledge of electrical components such as proximity sensors, encoders, contactors, overloads, motor starters, VFDs, PLCs
Job Salary:
$75K to $95K+ (pending experience)
