Position Summary: Millwork 360 has the highest standards for high quality craftmanship. We are looking for an experienced molding millworker with a minimum of 10 years experience creating custom wood moldings. The ideal candidate will possess supervisory experience and skills to mentor, train, and manage a team.
Job Functions:
Oversee computerized rip saw production line consisting of a Weinig Profi-Cut rip saw and a Weinig Opti-Cut Chop Saw.
Oversee RF (radio frequency) press glue up production department.
Oversee molding department consisting of 5 Weinig HSK molders.
Oversee custom tool grinding department.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and work with suppliers to resolve them.
Supervise team members to run the department efficiently adhering to company standards.
Manage Teams time and attendance in compliance with company policy.
Train and mentor coworkers in wood crafting skills.
Act as a first point of contact with production-related questions within the department.
Promote and enforce safety rules in the manufacturing floor and surrounding areas.
Support leadership team in company-wide projects as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED
A minimum of 10 years experience creating custom wood moldings.
Proven record of high-end craftsmanship woodwork.
Expertise of wood products, lumber, hardware, and door parts.
5 years of supervisory experience.
Experience with Weinig Powercom software with tool room link highly desired.
Experience with Weinig Molders.
Read measurements to the 64ths of an inch and proficiency with digital calipers.
Experience utilizing the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to follow safety protocols in the workplace.
Ability to squat, bend at the waist, and stand for several hours.
Full-body mobility required to perform production demands of production.
Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 lbs.
Ability to work extended hours including weekends as needed.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
Positive, organized, and enthusiastic with ability to influence others.
Must possess excellent communication and people skills.
