Cabinet Maker / Millwork Helper Installer Apprentices
Southern Pride Custom Cabinets is seeking a Cabinet Maker Helper / Shop Helper and an Installer and multiple Apprentices for its cabinetry production facility in Madison, AL.
Work in a team environment where cross training is encouraged and desired
Advance in woodworking and tools, operation of woodworking, finishing machinery, various lacquer /paint products and commitment to following safe operation practices
Additional training will be provided as required
Millwork Shop Helpers
HSD or GED equivalent
Experience in woodworking and cabinet building is required
Dependability and attention to detail and follow through is crucial
Must be able to lift (above 70lbs), bend and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Must provide own transportation and valid driver's license
Must pass pre-employment drug test and have clean background record
Ability to read a tape measure and other measuring devices is required
Cabinet Installers
HSD or GED equivalent; AS degree/certificate/certifications a plus
Experience in woodworking, cabinet building required; installing experience a plus
Ability to operate state of the art computer numerically controlled (CNC) equipment, experience a plus
Must be able to read prints and shop drawings
Dependability and attention to detail and follow through is crucial
Must be able to lift (above 70lbs), bend and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Must provide own transportation and valid driver's license
Must pass pre-employment drug test and have clean background record
Cabinet Maker Apprentices
Ability to read a tape measure and willing to learn how to use other measuring devices
Must have experience operating or be willing to learn how to operate woodworking tools such as power saws, routers, power drills, sanders, etc.
Must be dependable and show up to work on time
Must be able to pass a prescreening drug test
Must have a valid driver's license
Must be 18 years or older
Must be safety oriented
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend and work on your feet for extended periods of time
Get out of the heat and come to work in an air-conditioned plant!
