We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Finisher to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

Position Overview:
The Lead Finisher will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing the finishing processes for our high-quality furniture products. This position requires a deep understanding of finishing techniques, attention to detail, and strong leadership skills to guide a team of finishers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in furniture finishing, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and mentor a team of furniture finishers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and skill development.
• Oversee all aspects of the finishing process, including staining, painting, sealing, and polishing, to achieve the desired finish and quality standards.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other departments to ensure that finishing techniques align with design specifications and customer requirements.
• Maintain and manage finishing equipment and materials, ensuring they are in good working condition and used efficiently.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and address any issues or defects promptly.
• Develop and implement finishing procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and quality.
• Monitor inventory levels of finishing materials and order supplies as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and technologies to bring innovative solutions to the finishing process.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a furniture & cabinetry finisher, with a minimum of 5 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of finishing techniques, materials, and tools used in furniture production.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to read and interpret design specifications and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues related to finishing processes.
• Proficiency in using finishing equipment and tools, including sprayers, sanders, and polishing machines.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification is a plus.
• Extensive experience in furniture & cabinetry finishing, with demonstrated expertise in a lead role.
