We are seeking a talented and experienced CabinetVision Engineer to join our team and help elevate our production capabilities to new heights.
Position Overview: The CabinetVision Engineer will be responsible for engineering, nesting, and outputting cabinet packages using CabinetVision software. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and creative problem-solving to ensure that our high-end cabinetry projects are executed with the utmost precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with CabinetVision and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to collaborate closely with designers and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engineer and configure cabinetry layouts, components, and assemblies using CabinetVision software to meet high-end specifications and client requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed and accurate 2D and 3D drawings, cut lists, and production documentation for cabinetry projects.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and production teams to translate design concepts into actionable plans and ensure seamless integration into the production process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to CabinetVision software and its application in the production environment.
• Optimize cabinet designs and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce material waste, and enhance overall product quality.
• Stay current with updates and new features in CabinetVision software, and implement best practices to maximize its capabilities.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a CabinetVision Engineer or a similar role in a high-end cabinetry or woodworking environment.
• Proficiency in CabinetVision software, including design, configuration, and documentation features.
• Strong understanding of cabinetry construction, materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot software and design issues effectively.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, production teams, and clients.
• Experience with other CAD/CAM software is a plus.
• Knowledge of custom cabinetry manufacturing processes and techniques.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with CabinetVision software in a high-end cabinetry setting.
