ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SouthernStone Cabinets is looking for an Exceptional and Dynamic person to add to our team. Since 1998, SouthernStone Cabinets has been an industry leading domestic wholesale manufacturer of frameless cabinetry, closets systems, Murphy Bed systems and outdoor kitchen cabinetry. The position is for a Cabinet Manufacturing Engineer. Your responsibilities will encompass:
Primarily responsibility is Optimizing and Nesting jobs in Cabinet Vision for our automated production equipment.
Extensive experience in cabinet construction
Work closely with co-workers and clients both on the phone and in person to ensure order submitted is complete and accurate
Ensure customers vision works within our manufacturing processes and is properly communicated through systems and in person to the shop when necessary.
Kitchen, Bath and Closet design and install knowledge a priority.
Provide technical direction and assistance to customers regarding the use of company software, product lines and other training the customer needs to succeed with getting their orders fulfilled.
Handle client product questions and walk them through the quote /order process
Technical know-how and critical problem solver
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma required
Associate or College Degree preferred
3+ years experience in Cabinet Design and Installation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS
Competent in Excel, Outlook, and Access
Meticulous attention to detail and good organizational skills
Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and plan projects to completion in a timely manner.
Previous background with Manufacturing a requirement
Sociable & people friendly
Cabinet Vision Experience or like Optimization Software required
