Our client designs, manufactures, finishes, and installs HIGH QUALITY custom cabinets, millwork and furniture for discerning customers. The company does not mass produce; items are built to order and require a high attention to detail.

We are searching for an attentive, creative Cabinet Vision Engineer to complement their dynamic shop team.
• You will be responsible for creating accurate and complete drawings using Cabinet Vision to drive the technical needs of the CNC machine and to be used for customer approval.
• Successful candidates must operate with a high level of maturity, integrity, ethics and motivation.

Responsibilities include:
• Produces accurate and complete shop floor drawings using Cabinet Vision software to successfully drive CNC production, assembly, finishing and installation in compliance with UICC standards.
• Proficient with cabinet assembly and methods of installation
• Reads and accurately interprets Architectural Shop and CAD drawings, sketches, renderings and specifications of wood fixtures, cabinetry, furniture, and moldings.
• Working knowledge of details needed to engineer machine drawings to run CNC machines and get successfully nested output for shop floor.
• Checks and organizes all drawings on the job before sending to customer or shop floor.
• Work with clients (when needed) to understand requirements and specifications for cabinetry they are ordering.
• Utilizes excellent customer service skills and good follow-through.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of different types of materials for cabinetry making.
• Responsible for making accurate estimates, and taking accurate site measurements
• Works under various time frames and obstacles to keep jobs on-track.
• Manages several projects end-to-end at the same time in varying stages.
• Keeps jobs on track and advises management of any problems that may occur.
• Provides technical support and instruction to shop workers, and keeps shop team informed of changes as required.
• Works together as a team to accomplish daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

Requirements
• 5-10+ years of experience engineering cabinet drawings using Cabinet Vision software (required).
• 5+ years of experience building and installing high quality cabinetry building both euro and face frames styles, and standard casework construction (required).
• Previous experience with/knowledge of cabinet assembly and methods of installation.
• Excellent and open communication to peers, manager, and owners is a must!
• Ability to design and engineer cabinets as per the clients’ requirements and to fit interior spaces accurately.
• Good arithmetic skills and strong blueprint reading skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent problem solver, team player and desires to be part of the solution.
• Acts in a professional, courteous, and solution-oriented manner when interacting with clients.
• Energetic and works quickly and efficiently, meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship.
• Punctual and highly reliable.
• Knowledge of building regulations and codes to be adhered to (a plus).
