Description
We are looking for a qualified Furniture Engineer within our Product Development Department for our Greeneville, Tennessee facility. The Product Development Furniture Engineer provides technical, engineering, and project coordination support including new product development and product follow0up and production monitoring on a regular basis. The role will be responsible for providing factories with 2D and 3D drawing, assemblies, and quality specifications, outlining and overseeing performance testing and evaluation of samples, evaluating competitor samples, negotiating pricing, developing and launching new products, and collaborating with other departments and outside sources as needed, and other job duties assigned. This position also requires 2-4 international factory visits per year.

Requirements:
A college degree in engineering or business, and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience in furniture industry is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office software applications is required.
