Starting base salary: $55K-75K
Summary
An established & growing AWI architectural millwork firm is seeking an Engineer to produce shop drawings. Qualified candidates would have no less than five years practical experience in commercial Architectural Woodworking and cabinetry manufacturing. Candidates will be expected to produce submittal and cabinet/millwork drawings, revise redline drawings, communicate with client’s design team, field measure, confirm hardware specifications and requirements, and successfully engineer cabinets/millwork for production.
Requirements
CNC Programming experience
No less than five years industry specific AutoCAD experience.
Time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with Cabinet Vision or other like kind industry related software
Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, multi-tasking while working independently is required;
Working closely with Project Managers, Architects, Clients, Estimators, Production and Sales Staff to understand initial job requirements.
Practical problem-solving skills to create detailed shop drawings from architectural drawings while understanding shop construction techniques;
