Project Engineer – WI
Starting base salary: $70-80K
Summary
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinet design and production, with proficiency in Microvellum design software. You will be responsible for preparing detailed production documents and ensuring the smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Optimize cut lists for CNC Saw operations using CutRite software.
Create detailed drawings and designs using AutoCAD, Microvellum, or similar software.
Develop and provide CNC programs to machining centers utilizing Microvellum software.
Generate and provide production documents, including production sheets, component part drawings, saw cut patterns, and CNC programs.
Requirements
Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to understand and use formulas and quoting spreadsheets.
Proficiency with Microvellum software and other CAD tools (AutoCAD or Inventor preferred).
Engineering degree or significant experience in the cabinet manufacturing environment.
Experience with blueprint reading and CAD/CAM processes.
Strong mathematical skills, including algebra and geometry.
Proven team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to challenges.
High attention to detail and curiosity.
