Description
Project Engineer
•Responsible for drawing in Microvellum and preparing projects for the plant. We use 2020 Design, AutoCad, and/or Microvellum Cabinet Software for design and proposals.
•Responsible for providing necessary documentation to production: generating production sheets, component part drawings, saw cut patterns, and CNC programs to production.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Documents:
•Generates drawings using AutoCad or Microvellum.
•Provides optimized cut lists for the CNC Saw using CutRite software.
•Provides CNC programs to the machining centers using Microvellum software.
Job Requirements:
•Engineering degree or proven experience in the cabinet environment
Technical and Other Requirements:
• Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets to understand Microvellum formulas and our quoting spreadsheets
•Good math skills including algebra and geometry
•Blueprint reading
•Computer Aided Design (CAD); AutoCad or Inventor preferred
•Exposure to Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM)
•Attention to details, curiosity as a personality trait
•Good written and oral communication skills
•A demonstrated team player with problem solving skills
•Must have a positive attitude
