Lumber Grader - TN JOB ID # JOS2061 Starting base salary: $70-80K
This sawmill and kiln drying operation is currently seeking to fill a hardwood lumber grader / inspector position in our operation. Relocation assistance available and reports to the Crew Leader
Responsibilities Grade and mark all lumber to be sorted according to NHLA rules / guidelines and industry standards Adhere to all safety policies and perform tasks in a safe and responsible manner Communicate effectively with your team and other departments
Requirements Must have NHLA certified Must be NHLA trained and certified or have equivalent knowledge. Minimum of two (2) years experience grading green and/or kiln dried 2 to 3 years of experience grading domestic, green, and kiln dried hardwoods lumber Must be physically capable of performing all duties of the job and any other duties assigned by Crew Leader
