Job summary:
The Field Superintendent manages and oversees all aspects of field activity for assigned projects. Managing and directing sub-contractor personnel to achieve budget, schedule and quality while also supporting Project Management and Engineering through concise communication of field conditions and coordinating with other trades for successful execution of project design.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

1. Review drawings for installation concerns.
2. Procure field dimensions and coordinate hold-to dimensions.
3. Confirm hold-to dimensions as soon as possible.
4. Facilitate installers and other sub-contractors getting on site with safety, badging etc.
5. Determine manpower requirements to maintain schedule and budget.
6. Direct installers for proper layout and quality assurance.
7. Submit daily reports with manhours, notes and pictures.
8. Manage sub-contractor tickets to maintain budget.
9. Issue tickets to GC for approval prior to additional work.
10. Manage all costs in the field to maximize budget while maintaining schedule and quality.
11. Manage client expectations.
12. Coordinate with GC and other trades for efficient and effective job flow.
13. Provide prompt feedback to PM on deliveries for any damages or missing items.
14. Drive timelines towards completion.
15. Submit field work orders to PM with clear information.
16. Pre-punch all installed work prior to GC, architect or owner punch list.
17. Manage completion of all punch work.
18. Coordinate schedule of stone templates and review templating accuracy.
19. Coordinate schedule of stone install and review quality.
20. Forecast hurdles to success and develop plan to resolve.
21. Attend jobsite meetings
22. Ensure that installed product is and remains protected.
23. Ensure that jobsites are run safe, clean and organized.
24. Enforce quality standards.
25. Achieve project schedule.
26. Maintain budget.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects greater than 50 pounds with a team lift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to work on ladders, lifts and scaffolding for extended periods of time. The employee must be able to use hand tools, power tools, laser layout devices, and other tools of the trade while adhering to OSHA Standards.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are contingent on job-site specifics.

Travel:

Travel is expected with this position dependent on project locations.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience
