Project Manager
Pay commensurate with experience
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our commercial casework/millwork company. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination
Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely execution of projects
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures to ensure project success. Travel to jobsite as required
Have a thorough understanding of each projects contract
Budget and Cost Management
Track and actively manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial targets
Negotiate with subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and cost-effective solutions
Regularly review project costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to optimize project profitability
Quality Control
Establish and enforce quality standards for casework/millwork manufacturing, installation, and finishing
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain customer satisfaction
Communication and Management
Serve as the main point of contact for clients
Conduct regular project meetings and provide progress updates to all relevant parties
Effectively communicate project goals, requirements, and timelines to the project team and ensure alignment
Team Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and motivate the project team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment
Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and support team members throughout the project lifecycle
Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to facilitate seamless project execution
Qualifications
Knowledge of AWI standards
Experience managing commercial casework and millwork projects
Experience with Project Management Software (Innergy preferred)
Ability to read architectural drawings, blueprints, spec. sheets, etc.
Ability to work with minimal direct supervision
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency
Bluebeam proficiency
