Position Overview:
The President will manage all Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics and Continuous Improvement functions. This position requires hands-on involvement and leadership to guide manufacturing operations through continuous improvement to produce manufacturing efficiency and financial results. This position requires a sharp business mind and proven success managing a company and multiple departments while achieving maximum productivity. This person will be skilled in business management, production flow, human resources, production planning, efficiency and finance. They must be willing to embrace Witmer’s commitment to quality, product innovation, customer satisfaction and their employees.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management (P&L Responsibility):
- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve net income targets and ensure overall profitability.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance to optimize operational efficiency and minimize costs.
- Implement cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement initiatives to improve the bottom line.
2. Operational Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Evaluate, guide and direct Operations Leadership team.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline processes and optimize performance.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with Sales department to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and maintain quality standards.
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s production capacity.
- Ensure that departments remain on time and on budget.
- Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed.
- Oversee materials and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and governmental standards.
- Increase profit margins.
- Manage maintenance staff.
- Track performance metrics, identify areas of underperformance, and create plans to improve performance.
- Provide regular updates to Senior Management on production status and performance metrics.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to managers and employees to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance evaluations to assess progress, address challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience (15+ years) in a managerial role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of wood production processes, technologies, and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
