Brownstone Door Co. is a small Brooklyn based woodworking shop. Our company specializes in custom wood entry doors and decorative millwork elements. Efficiency and precision are our core values.
We are looking for a custom woodworker with a substantial experience who can begin fabrication to our standards in a minimal amount of time.
Key Responsibilities:
Fabricate doors, door frames, and other components, ensuring all projects meet our manufacturing standards.
Install door hardware with precision.
Able to take production from shop drawings to the finished product, meeting all deadlines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
Qualifications:
5-10 years of experience in fine woodworking and traditional joinery.
Strong mechanical aptitude required to troubleshoot any door hardware issues.
Proficient in operating a wide range of woodworking machinery and tools.
Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and processes.
Ability to accurately read and follow shop drawings and manufacturer's specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
