Our team is hiring a CNC programmer to support our growing team. You will be responsible for using AlphaCAM to program parts for both our Casegoods and Custom departments. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. This role requires knowledge of the commercial millwork industry since your day-to-day work will be coordinating with Custom, Casegoods, and Engineering department heads to program parts needed to faster fabrication of all custom millwork. Responsibilities • Communicate with department heads on what is needed to keep their department moving forward • Personal time management to get all parts done ahead of when needed • Keep track of CNC router bits and get orders to purchasing when needed • Make printouts for CNC operator • Organize file server for Homag point-to-point and Northwood nesting machines Skills • Knowledge of AlphaCAM Router edition • Knowledge of Bluebeam (preferred) • Strong programming skills with experience in CNC machine operation. • Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation for accurate machining. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively. • Knowledge of custom millwork Job Type: Full-time Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental Insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
